As a senior manager, it can often be difficult to justify the time for one’s own self development. The pressures of everyday business mean that time for true self-reflection gets overlooked in favour of more pressing issues. Working alongside a professional coach like Fiona means that you have a structure which allows you to take this much needed time out of the day to day business to take stock and look at the totality of the picture. Personally I have benefited enormously from my interactions with Fiona. It was important for me that I found a coach who would challenge me rather than pay lip service. Fiona has a wonderful way of giving me the space to identify challenging issues, guiding me through a process of self-reflection to really get to the heart of the issue which can be uncomfortable, to move to a supported place of navigating my way through them. I think it sets a good example to our team that we take our own self-development seriously and are prepared to invest in it and continually seek to improve. A supportive coach however makes that journey more effective which is likely to result in real change in behaviour over time.
Working with Fiona on a course of one-to-one business coaching sessions gave me the clarity to confidently reassess my approach to business. As a result, I am now enjoying the process of running my own business rather than constantly worrying about what can go wrong.
I would not hesitate in recommending Fiona, she has been essential in my development and has allowed me to not only effect change at a local level but at a global level.
I just want to thank you for the one to one discussion and the course – I really enjoyed it and got a lot from it.I can see why you have gone into this area in your career as you are an inspiring communicator and had an excellent demeanor. I really felt very comfortable in a situation I would normally feel quite vulnerable or nervous about and that is mostly down to how you put us at ease with your relaxed approach. I really appreciate all the effort that went into the course Fiona – so thanks!
My mentoring sessions with Fiona, were fantastic. Fiona's very quiet, positive, non-judgmental approach, with a very fun sense of humour, turning my negative thoughts into positives, was a game changer for me. I feel Fiona's encouragement and total confidence in me, gave me the inspiration to develop a very creative project/presentation and even though, I had not presented, in over 12 years, I felt very happy and confident, to get up in front of my peers to present my project. Thank you Fiona, for your knowledge, insights and inspiration.
Fiona was really easy to listen to, engaging and made the learning so digestible and easy. I really enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed the day & I am leaving with a lot to think about and put into action. What a brilliant way of learning – thank you.
